Qpac Offices, Summer 2014
Qpac, an innovative packaging company, approached Forest to design their new offices in 2014. They sought our help in envisaging a workspace with a light, contemporary feel. Advising across all aspects of the design from the colour palette to the floors, in spaces including the boardroom, offices, lounge, bathrooms and kitchen, we aimed to create an overridingly contemporary feeling with a certain vitality and freshness. By mixing English and Scandinavian furniture, both contemporary and mid century, we brought vintage pieces by Pastoe and Louis van Teeffelen up to date, whilst adding their 1950s individuality to more pared back contemporary designs by the likes of Hay. Wishing to impart a playfulness to Qpac employees' spaces, we provided an abundance of plants and custom upholstered desk screens with Kirkby's Atom fabrics. The brick walls of the industrial space combine with the bright colours and wood tones to brilliant effect.
