Model 50 oak occasional chair designed by Erik Buch for O.D Mobler AS.

The image shows an example of how the chair could be upholstered - as we have three chairs at the moment that are identical but need new upholstery. A fabric for the new cover can be chosen in the shop from one of our fabric books.

About the Designer

Erik Buch was a Danish designer with an organic style and a focus on function. As with many of his contemporaries, he often combined fabric and leather with grained wood such as teak and rosewood. The design that shot him to fame was the Model 49 chair, which featured a curved floating seat and with a classic clean aesthetic.
