A unique and relaxing rocking chair designed by the much celebrated Finnish designer Ilmaari Tapiovaara for the Dutch firm, Pastoe.

Ilmaari Tapiovaara

Ilmaari Tapiovaara designed countless pieces of furniture which have since become mid-century collectors pieces. Tapiovaara's illustrious career included periods working for Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe, and stints in Paraguay, Mauritius and the US. His talent was recongised and he was deservedly awarded medals at the Milan Triennale and MoMA's Good Design shows.
