FT30 Chair by Cees Braakman for Pastoe
FT30 occasional chair with an enveloping form twinned with elegant high legs and teak armrests. It was designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in 1954 and has since become a classic of Dutch design. Priced 'as is' with the original red wool upholstery, though available with reupholstery for £560.

Pastoe underwent extensive change under the transformative leadership of Cees Braakman in the years following World War II. His designs were awarded national medals, such as at the Trienniale in Milan, and remain extremely sought after. Several of his designs are featured in museum collections such as those of the Stedlijk and the Centraal.
