1950's rocking chair by Danish, Illum Wikkelso for N. Eilersen, in white varnished beech. 

Some minor defects in the paintwork.

About the Designer

Illum Wikkelso was a Danish architect/designer, whose status defines what we know as Scandinavian modern. He delicately defines detail & simplicity, & believed furniture should be built to last whilst being aesthetically pleasing.
