Martin Visser
Martin Visser's designs have become something of Dutch classics. Their clean lines and sharp angles align with the aesthetics of high modernism and have retained their timeless elegance over the years to become much sought after. Visser was a conoisseur and patron of the arts, be it architecture, furniture or paintings. He lived in a house designed by Gerrit Rietveld and collected artworks by such luminaries as Lucio Fontana, Carl Andre, Anselm Kiefer and Sigmar Polke. With such extraordinary art surrounding him, it it is little surprise that his own designs are imbued with a similarly artistic quality.
