Yngve Ekstrom

Yngve Ekstrom is a key figure in histories of Swedish design with many of his pieces represented in the collections of the world's major museums, including the V&A. The Lamino chair is arguably his most famous design, and remains an icon of Scandinavian design. At the close of the 20th century, the readers of Swedish interior design magazine, Skona Hem, chose the Lamino when they were asked to vote for "one piece of furniture of the 20th century." This armchair shares the same superb sense of engineering resulting in unquestionable comfort.
